Saturday Plans Around the House

Today should be a busy day of prepwork and cleaning.  My in-laws are coming over for dinner tonight, my mom and step-dad are coming for lunch tomorrow, and my dad, step-mom and Grandmother are coming for dinner tomorrow evening.

I ended up making the two loaves of bread last night.  We will go out, hopefully on Monday, and get the stuff to set up my summer kitchen.  Until then I have to work around the weather.  Since it is supposed to be near 90 today, we decided to get all baking done this morning, which wouldn't have allowed us time to make the bread, hence doing it last night.

Right now I have the soaked muffins baking (Lesson 3 on the GNOWFGLINS Fundamentals e-course).  I also harvested some lettuce from the garden (I'll post pictures next week).  Besides my lunch, the bulk of the kitchen work today will be veggie prep.

Outside the kitchen, I need to give the house a good dusting and mop the floors.
