Cooking will be the usual getting ready for the week (bread, lunch) plus I want to attempt to make a snack to take with me. We'll also have the annual New Year's Day stuffed pork chops - the one time of year that we make them. My in-laws will join us for it.
Monday we'll undecorate from Christmas, but won't completely redecorate. We're in the middle of a partial redo of our living room. We've already gotten the new tables, but the shelves won't arrive until sometime next week. Since the old shelves are already down for the Christmas tree, it just doesn't make sense to put them up just to take them back down. So the house won't be "done" until possibly next weekend.
I'm still knitting away at the baby blanket. I'm about halfway done and have a little over a month to finish it. I'm really looking forward to doing a project without a deadline so that I can set it aside to work on other crafts as the mood strikes me. Projects for this year are scrapbooking and some hand piecing of quilts. I've not done this before and actually bought a small kit (designed for kids) to get me started.
That about sums up the plans for the coming weekend. I hope that you have a blessed and enjoyable one.

I have a few crocheted blankets to finish up for my kids - maybe a good January goal.
I, too, am looking forward to doing some quilting in 2012. There is a rainbow scrappy challenge that I'm joining that focuses on one color a month to work on...to use up those scraps. If interested, you can link to it from my sidebar.
Happy crafting!
Good luck with the redo....I am not brave enough to do one yet...I can't even get the Christmas tree down until next weekend!
Happy New Year!
It was nice to meet you on the "coffee" hop!
I'm looking to get things back to normal too...well, as "normal" as you can get with 2 little ones I guess. =p Hope everything goes smoothly with the redo. It will be nice to get the new stuff in. Happy new year!
