My menu plan starts on Saturday. For the most part, sides are figured out during the week. I always have plenty of starchy side dishes and frozen veggies to choose from.
I am hoping for a nice quiet week where I can continue to try and get over this cold. Other than our normal mid-week service, we don't have any plans for the evenings. Though I know that can change in a heartbeat.
A few dinners were carried over from last week. One, was Saturday's chicken (though that had already changed before I did my menu post). The other was the beef patties and gravy from Friday, we opted for chicken noodle soup and grilled cheese since I was feeling so poorly.
Saturday - Italian chicken skillet
Sunday - meat loaf, mac and cheese
Monday - pasta
Tuesday - beef patties in gravy
Wednesday - pork chops
Thursday - upside down shepherd's pie
Friday -breakfast. We'll probably do bacon and some homemade buttermilk pancakes
