Big Clean, Bread Baking and Other Weekend Plans

Normally I spread my housecleaning over several evenings, and normally it works quite well.  However, this week we have been so busy that nothing got done.  So tonight, while Jim is doing some mowing for his dad, I'll do a big clean.

I also haven't made bread in a few weeks - we've been eating store bought - so that is definitely on the agenda for tomorrow.  I also came across a neat idea for making salads ahead of time that keeps the lettuce from getting all soggy and icky, so I'll be trying that out for my lunch this coming week.  I just have to decide what type of salad I want.

On the crafting front,I am just about done making the granny squares for the blanket that I am working on.  I am hoping that I will have plenty of time to work on it this weekend so that I can start actually sewing the squares together.

What are your weekend plans?  Whatever they are, I hope that your weekend is relaxing and blessed.

I want to hear more about the non-soggy prepped salad. :) Hope the big clean goes well. I do minimal cleaning every day and make sure nothing is on the floors at the end of the night, but I do need to do a big clean soon too...stuff that gets forgotten like baseboards or crevices of windows. :p Hope you had a great weekend.

I'll be blogging about it tomorrow (Tuesday) and will try and remember to link back in Friday's post too.
